Dead River Derby Bout to Benefit Yellow Dog

Dead River Derby Bout to Benefit Yellow Dog

On Saturday May 24, the Dead River Derby girls will be matched against the Escanaba Rollin’ Hellcats and proceeds from the event will benefit the Yellow Dog Watershed Preseve programs to preserve land, monitor water, and maintain a beautiful area for future generations to enjoy. We are looking forward to an exciting night! The Dead River Derby girls had an undefeated first home season in 2013, and 2014 has started off with a win against Kingsford Krush. Look for posters all over town advertising Rollin on the River their benefit bout. The bout will take place at the Lakeview Arena in Marquette; doors open at 6pm and the bout starts at 7pm. You can buy tickets in advance for $8 or buy them for $10 at the door. Kids 10-17 are $5 and 9 and under are free. Please visit www.deadriverderby.org for more information about derby and the event! A prize will be available for the most spirited fan and beer will be available for sale to attendees ages 21 and older.
