Land Protection

We use a variety of tools and methods to keep sensitive lands protected from overuse or misuse. These range from mapping, monitoring legislative and/or zoning changes, obtaining special designations, watchdogging activities, land acquisition, and conservation easements. Our most successful method has been land acquisition.
The Yellow Dog Watershed Preserve owns and monitors over 370 acres of land within the watershed. Take a look at our successes and be sure to visit them.
